Did you know that the Lifeguard School Bayline based in Thessaloniki is a recognized speedboat school;
The port authority officially classifies BAYLINE SPEED BOAT TRAINING SCHOOL as a training school for prospective speedboat pilots.
What does that mean?
Presidential Decree 71/2020 defines the license of a speedboat pilot as a necessary condition in order for someone to work as a Lifeguard of Bathing Facilities.
The fast-paced training in small sections of the "speedboat school" program reduces teaching to a more efficient and fun process.
The candidate pilot is first taught theoretical positioning, tracking, distance measurement, lighthouse reading, life-saving equipment, distress signals, nautical knots and nautical hazards as shown on nautical charts.
In the second phase, in his practical training, he is taught the course, the side mooring, the stern mooring, the use of life-saving equipment and the operation of the boat engine.
The pre-registration form is the first step so that you too can become a pilot of a speedboat.
We are waiting for you in the Bayline team.
